S Technologies has been a research-based company since 2013. The Research and Development Wing is where that work happens: an independent research center of its own, a public catalogue of what came out of it, and a standing invitation to build the next thing with us.

Our research centers
S Web Research Center and S AI Research Center were merged into a single center, S Technologies Research Center, on August 14, 2026. It runs independently of the service side of the company, so the questions it takes on are not limited to what a client has already asked for.

How research becomes a product
Nothing leaves the wing until it has survived all five steps.

Question
We write down the problem in one sentence, along with who has it and what they do today instead. If that sentence will not hold up, the work stops here.

Survey
We read what already exists. Most questions are answered somewhere, and finding that out early is the cheapest result a study can produce.

Prototype
We build the smallest thing that can be wrong in public — a library, a model, or a command line tool — rather than a finished product nobody has tested.

Evaluate
The prototype is used on real work, by us first. What it costs to run, to learn, and to maintain is measured before anything is promised to a client.

Release
What survives is documented, published with its source, and then kept — updated and supported for as long as people depend on it.

You have a problem that needs answering before it can be built. We scope the study, run it, and hand back findings you can act on — whether or not the answer is a product from us.
Students and thesis work
We take on students working on web or AI topics that overlap with ours. Training and learning time is part of the job here, not a perk, and that extends to the people we host.
Open source contribution
Everything the wing publishes is free to read, use, and change. Issues and pull requests on any of our repositories reach the same people who wrote the code.
